Obituary

Auburn – Yvonne M. Dupré, 90, of Auburn passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 5th.
Yvonne was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Oscar N. and Bertha (Marin) Dupré. She retired as a receptionist at the Worcester office of Bowditch and Dewey Attorneys.
Yvonne held a special place in her heart for helping others, she knitted small hats for premature babies in the neonatal intensive care unit at Memorial Hospital. This act of kindness was inspired after both her grandchildren were born premature and this was her way of giving back to help those that helped her family.
She was an amazing cook and her grandchildren always enjoyed having a home cooked meal done by their Gramma. Yvonne enjoyed many things, from gardening flowers and roses to birdwatching and doing meticulous needlework; however, family was the center of her life. She was a lifelong animal lover and had special place in her heart for all animals.
Yvonne is survived by her daughters, Karen A. Keirstead of Auburn; Debra A. Caporiccio and her husband, Andy of Palmer, MA; two grandchildren, Michael Caporiccio and his wife Lauren, and Joseph Caporiccio and his partner, Lina Pietroniro.
A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, March 9 at 10 AM in Saint Joseph’s Church 189 Oxford St. Auburn. Burial will be held at a later date in Hope Cemetery, Worcester. Memorial contributions in memory of Yvonne may be made to the USO PO Box 96860 Washington, DC 20077 – 7677.
