LEICESTER/CHARLTON CITY: Christopher M. Drake, 25 of Green St., left to be with his loved ones on Sunday, Feb. 26th. in Leicester.
He leaves his aunt and uncle Katherine & Dennis Drake of Leicester with whom he lived, his close extended family who were like brothers and sisters to him; Melissa Tippitt and her husband Andrew and their children Winston & Luke Linton all of Leicester, Jason Drake and his wife Caitlin of Dalton, William Drake and his wife Bonnie and their daughter Makayla all of Charlton, Justin Drake and his girlfriend Shannon Sullivan of Taunton, his mother Patricia Wojciak of Southbridge, and his grandmother Barbara Kroll of Spencer, and a brother Waylon Wojciak. He is predeceased by his father Brian Drake and grandmother Nora Drake in 2006, and grandfather Ralph Drake in 1998. He leaves many friends and loved ones.
Chris was a sheet metal worker at R.J. Industries in Webster for the past 2 years.
He was born in Worcester and later graduated from Bay Path Reg. Vocational Technical School in Charlton in 2010. He enjoyed video games, his animals, all New England teams and spending time with family and friends. He was extremely hard-working, caring and always smiling. Chris was loved by all who knew him.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 3 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 1131 Main St., Leicester. A celebration of his life will follow with a reception at the Knights of Columbus, Meadow Rd., in Spencer. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Mary's Cemetery, Southbridge. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl., Memphis, TN, 38105. Chris supported St. Jude's throughout his life.
