Barbara Ann Kush, 53, of Oxford and formerly of Worcester died Tuesday at home.
Ms. Kush was a corrections officer with the Massachusetts Department of Correction and worked in a number of facilities throughout the state. Most recently she was assigned to MCI Norfolk.
She leaves her brother, Bronislaus B. Kush of Worcester, a nephew, Peter C. Kush of Worcester, and a niece, Margaret Frances Kush of Everett. Her brother, Joseph W. Kush, died in 2014.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of Walter and Hedwig (Wolochowicz) Kush. She attended St. Mary's Jr.-Sr. High School and Worcester State College.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M., Thursday March 2, 2017 in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday March 1, 2017 in the Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home, 33 Ward Street, Worcester.
