William P. Herlihy, Sr. age 65 formerly of Milton, of Easton passed away suddenly February 22nd at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Brockton. Born and raised in the Ten Hills Section of Somerville, he graduated from Malden Catholic High School and Stonehill College. Mr. Herlihy was the Owner and Operator of Automotive Parts Rebuilders (APR) in Weymouth before retiring. He was an avid Patriots Fan and a supporter of the Special Olympics. Beloved husband of Margaret E. “Peggy” (Flaherty). Loving father of Julie A. and Sheila H. Herlihy both of Dorchester and William P. Herlihy, Jr. of Milton. Brother of Ann Quinn of Norwood, Jean MacDonald of Weymouth, Patricia Howard of Easton, Kathleen Kendrick of N.C., Claire Shaw of MI, Walter Herlihy of Walpole, Thomas Herlihy of CT and the late Henry “Buddy”, Daniel, Paul, John and Mary Herlihy. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral mass at St. Agatha Church, Milton Monday morning at 10:30. Visiting hours at the Alfred D. Thomas Funeral Home 326 Granite Ave Milton Sunday 2-5 pm. Burial Milton Cemetery.
