Edward A. Morris, 78, of Windham, NH, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2017, in Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover, NH. He was born in Tewksbury, MA on October 4, 1938, a son of Walter and Flora (MacQuarrie) Morris. Edward enjoyed sports, gardening, traveling, reading and spending time with his grandchildren, In 1999, he was inducted into the Tewksbury memorial High School Hall of Fame for Football.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Rosemarie (DeCarolis) Morris, one son, Edward A. Morris; two daughters, Debora J. Crawford and Lori A. Dodge, seven grandchildren, Amanda Crawford, Brittany Crawford Gibson Ashley Crawford, Jake Morris, Will Morris, Kylee Dodge, & Taylor Dodge, one great grandchild, Brantley Gibson, one sister, Mary Dubois; as well as many nieces and nephews. Mr. Morris was predeceased by seven of his siblings, Walter Morris, Raymond Morris, Donald Morris, Catherine Burris, Dorothy Canty, Flora Marzeoti, and Francis Fawcett.
Following cremation, a memorial calling hour will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 9 – 10 am in St. Matthew’s Parish Searles Road, Windham with a Mass of Christian burial to be celebrated at 10:00am.
