Bernard P. “Benny” Majewski, 77, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2017 at U. Mass-Memorial Hospital, University Campus, Worcester.
His wife of 46 years, Carol (LeBlanc) Majewski died in 2008.
Ben leaves behind his 5 children; Michael A. Majewski of Webster, Elizabeth A. wife of Stephen Racicot of Dudley, Patricia A. Majewski and her husband Joseph Fallavollita of Webster, Christopher J. Majewski of Millbury and Erin C. Kelley and her husband Matthew of Bolton, 5 grand-daughters; Emily, Stevie, Katie, Alison and Anna, a brother, Walter J. Majewski and his wife Louise of Southbridge and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony ‘Popeye’ Majewski and a grandson, Ted Racicot.
Benny was born in Webster, son of the late Benjamin and Helen (Jarosz) Majewski and lived here all his life.
He was a graduate of Bartlett High School and worked over 15 years for the former Commonwealth Spring Co. in Northborough where he retired, prior to that, he worked for C&S Wholesale Grocers.
Benny also was a former member for over 40 years at the P.A.C.C. and worked as a bar tender and worked all functions with the club. He followed all the local sports teams, playing cards and was a league member on several pitch and cribbage teams. He also enjoyed watching baseball and going to the casinos and dog tracks. Ben also enjoyed the friendship with the ‘Guys” in the morning at Dunkin Donuts.
Most of all, he enjoyed his grand-daughters and being with them.
Funeral Services for Benny will be Private, there are no calling hours. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace Cemetery, next to his beloved wife.
