Charlton
Robert P. Johnson, 83, passed away Thursday, December 29, 2016 at the Overlook Health Care Center.
His wife of 46 years, Claire Y. (Cote) Johnson died August 16, 2012.
He is survived by a son Keith A. Johnson and his wife Kym of Charlton, a daughter, Cheryl A. Tremblay and her husband Jeffrey of Holden, 5 grandchildren, 2 sisters, Laura Chaput of Northborough and Claire Kirkpatrick of Worcester.
Bob was born in Worcester, October 8, 1933 a son of the late Aaron P. and Lillian (Bonin) Johnson and lived here many years.
He was a graduate of St. John’s High School in Shrewsbury and also a graduate of the College of the Holy Cross in Worcester. For many years he was a Certified Public Accountant.
Bob was a member of St. Joseph’s Church.
Most of all, he will be remembered as a quiet family man.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, January 5, 2017 at 10 AM at St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H-Putnam Rd., Ext. in Charlton, followed by burial next to his beloved wife in West Ridge Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 5-8PM at the ROBERT J. MILLER-CHARLTON FUNERAL HOME, 175 Old Worcester Rd.
