SPENCER:Janice L. (Brier) Marcelonis 79, of South St., died Monday, Dec. 12 at Rose Monahan Hospice Home in Worcester. She was surrounded by her family and friends.
She was the wife of Donald V. Marcelonis who died in 2015. They were happily married for 50 years. She leaves 3 daughters Cheri Brier of Norwich, Ct., Kelly Laythe and her husband Brian of Worcester and Holly Robinson of Spencer with whom she lived, many grand and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who loved her very much. She is predeceased by her daughter Kim Lambert in 2006.
Janice retired from FLEXCON in Spencer Ma in 2001. She went back to work as a pharmacy technician at Walmart in Ocala, Fl., where she continued to work until 2015.
Born in Worcester, she was the daughter of George and Alice (Nutting) Brier. She attended Pilgrim Baptist Church in No.Brookfield. She loved knitting which she taught her niece Michelle Petraitis enjoy as well. She loved her dog Maggie who was her faithful companion and she also shared many wonderful times with her niece Dianna LaBaire.
Memorial calling hours for Janice will be held on Friday, Dec. 16 from 4 to 6 p.m. with a service at 6 p.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Rose Monahan Hospice Home at Coes Pond, 10 Judith Rd., Worcester 01602.
