Obituary

Warren – Shannon L. (Thomas) Bond, 37, of Warren died peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, December 9th in the Rose Monahan Hospice Residence, Worcester after a valiant and courageous battle with breast cancer.

Shannon was married to the late Michael S. Bond, who died in 2014. She is survived by her 3 loving sons, Justin Saucier, Tyler Bond and Jakob Bond all of Warren; her father, Paul Thomas of Warren; her fiancée, Patrick McIntyre; a brother in law, Matt Bond; two half-brothers, William and Zach; a half-sister, Alicia; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Shannon was born in Worcester, daughter of the late Donna (Perham) Thomas and graduated from the Worcester Vocational Technical High School where she studied culinary arts.

Words are unable to describe the love that Shannon showed for her three boys. She hopes that they will cherish the memories of her, attending all of their sporting events, decorating Easter eggs with them, carving pumpkins, working on puzzles, taking trips to the beach, camping, going fishing and many other things. The holidays always held a special place in Shannon’s heart and loved spending them with her children and family.

Shannon was also an avid scrapbooker and enjoyed putting family albums together. She was a member of the American Eagle Post in Warren.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, December 13th from 4 to 7 PM in the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home 12 Hammond St. Worcester. Funeral services will be held privately with burial in Central Cemetery, Millbury.

The family request that memorial donations in memory of Shannon be made to charity of the donor’s choice to help breast cancer research.
