WORCESTER-Marcia A. Mooshagian, 53, of Worcester, passed away on Friday, December 2, 2016. She is survived by her parents, Madieros "Marty" and Mary (Bagdasarian) Mooshagian, with whom she lived and was a compassionate, devoted, generous and loving caregiver; a brother, Mark N. Mooshagian of Newport, RI; a sister, Melanie E. Picard and her husband Richard Jr. of West Hartford, CT; and three Godchildren, John S. Mooshagian who was the light of her life and Renee M. and Justin R. Picard, whom she cherished dearly.
Marcia was born in Worcester and graduated from Doherty High School and Worcester State College where she earned her BS in mathematics. She worked in the claims department at Hanover Insurance for several years. Marcia was a member of the Armenian Church of Our Saviour and the Daughters of Vartan. She enjoyed attending Mensa Conventions with her brother and spending time at Myrtle Beach.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, December 6th at the Armenian Church of Our Saviour, 87 Salisbury Street, Worcester. Burial will follow at Hope Cemetery. A visiting hour will also be held on Tuesday from 10:00am until the time of the service in the church.
