WORCESTER- Alice M. (O’Gorman) Brown, 77, passed away on Monday, November 7th at Marlborough Hills Healthcare Center following an illness.
Born in Worcester on June 27, 1939 she was the daughter of the late John and Margaret (Nugent) O’Gorman.
Her husband of 47 years, William J. Brown passed away in 2008.
Mrs. Brown was a devoted catholic and longtime parishioner of St. Ann’s Parish in North Oxford. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and her greatest joy in life was time spent with her loving family.
She leaves behind her children, Maryellen A. Brown of Shrewsbury and William P. Brown of Dudley; three grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret Army, Mary Bjourndal and Janice Carabba; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents and husband Mrs. Brown is predeceased by her 9 siblings.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 14th at 10:00am in St. Ann’s Church, 652 Main St., N. Oxford. Burial will follow at Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. There are no visiting hours. Arrangements under the care of CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL FUNERAL HOME, 61 MYRTLE ST., WORCESTER.
