Ethan A. Costello
Tewksbury Memorial High School Sophomore
TEWKSBURY: Ethan A. Costello, age 15, passed away October 30, 2016 at Tufts New England Medical Center, Floating Hospital for Children in Boston.
Born in Boston on December 22, 2000, he was the beloved son of Paul A. Costello and Kelly E. (Conley) Costello.
Ethan was raised in Tewksbury, attended Tewksbury schools, and was currently a sophomore at Tewksbury Memorial High School.
Ethan was known for his gregarious and outgoing personality, and loved spending time and socializing with his many friends.
He enjoyed the tranquil moments he spent drawing, and caring for his dog “Sammy”, a Boston Terrier, as well as his numerous other pets he loved prior to Sammy’s arrival.
Ethan also loved watching the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet, the History Channel, and nature shows.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Julian J. Costello, a student at the Wynn Middle School in Tewksbury; his paternal grandfather, John H. Costello of Wakefield; his maternal grandmother, Kathleen (Von Rhee) Conley of Andover. He was the nephew of Kathleen Costello of Wakefield, Susan Conley of Acton, and Jeff Conley and his wife Amy of Milton. Cousin of Griffin and Duncan Conley both of Milton. He also leaves his best friend, Jake Ruocchio, and many extended family members in Galway and Dublin, Ireland.
Ethan was the paternal grandson of the late Gail (Cronin) Costello and maternal grandson of the late John “Jack” Conley.
Calling hours are Friday, Nov. 4, from 4-8 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury. His funeral will be held Saturday, Nov. 5, at 9:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. William’s Church, 1351 Main St., Rte. 38, Tewksbury. Interment at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
