Obituary

Spencer – Victor M. Boehnke, 69, of Spencer, died on Sunday, October 30th in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus after being stricken ill.

Mr. Boehnke is survived by his 5 children, Victor M. Boehnke Jr. of Worcester, Michael S. Boehnke of Gardner, Barbara C. Boehnke of Worcester, Derek M. Boehnke of Auburn and Kimberly A. Perry and her husband, Michael of Spencer; 4 sisters, Barbara Batty and Donna Strom both of Florida, Paulette Maley of Worcester and Karen Kenward of Spencer; 6 grandchildren, Olivia, Justin, Nadia, Kermit, Damien and Jamisen. Victor is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

He was born in Worcester, son of the late Edward and Stella (Logan) Boehnke and is also predeceased by a brother, Edward Boehnke.

Victor graduated from St. Mary’s High School in Worcester and worked for many years at the former Wright Line in Worcester as a shipper and receiver. He most recently worked as a driver for the Good as Gold Coffee Company.

Mr. Boehnke was an avid New York Giants fan and a member of the Auburn/Webster Lodge of Elks. He enjoyed many things, including being with his family and taking day trips to Foxwoods.

Funeral services are being held privately and memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
