WORCESTER-Mae E. (Mathieu) Germain, 94, passed away on Sunday, October 2nd. Mae was predeceased by her husband, Patrick A. Germain, Sr. in 1991. She is survived by three children, Kevin L. Germain and his wife Ann Marie of Worcester, Elizabeth A. Parker and her husband James of Ashville, NC and Patrick A. Germain, Jr.. and his wife Nancy of Gatesville, TX; eleven grandchildren, fifteen great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Paul Mathieu and her sister, Louise Germain.
Mae was born in Auburn daughter of Napoleon and Edith (Wilkinson) Mathieu and graduated from Auburn High School. She served as majorette in the school band and continued after high school with other local bands. She was a member of Sacred Heart-St. Catherine of Sweden Church.
Visiting hours for Mae will be held on Thursday, October 6th from 5:00 until 7:00 pm at CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL FUNERL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 7th at 11:30 am at Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Veterans, Inc., 69 Grove St., Worcester, MA 01605.
