LEICESTER - Mrs. Pauline (Walczak) Mancini, 88, passed away Thursday September 22nd at St Vincent Medical Center.
Born February 5, 1928 in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of Staniflaw and Marjanna Walczak.
Pauline was a graduate of St Mary’s High School in Worcester. She was part of the schools drum corps team. Pauline worked for many years in the shoe industry for Brown Shoe Company.
She was a parishioner of St Joseph St Pius X Parish in Leicester. Pauline loved crossword puzzles and collecting knick knacks.
She leaves her husband of sixty-four years, Mr. Rudolph “Rudy” Mancini, a son, Rudy Mancini, a son in law, Richard Murdock and a grandson, Brenden Murdock and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Pauline was predeceased by her daughter Paula Murdock, and a brother Boleslaus Walczak.
A funeral mass will be held Monday, September 26th at St Joseph St Pius X Church, Leicester at 10:00am. Burial will follow in Worcester County Memorial Park Cemetery, Paxton. Funeral arrangements under the directions of FAZIO FUNERAL HOME, directors, Louis M. Fazio Jr. and Louis M. Fazio III.
