Worcester-Robert Roche, 75 died on Thursday, August 25th at St. Mary's Health Center.
Robert was born in Worcester, son of the late Maurice and Mildred (Wynne) Roche. He graduated from Burncoat High School and worked at Meola's and then Jamesbury Corp. for many years, retiring in 2006. He loved traveling and was an avid fan of all Boston teams.
Robert was predeceased by his loving wife of 39 years, Edna J. (Provost) Roche. He is survived by his son David of Barre; daughter, Kim Forsyth and husband Brandon of Henderson, NC; granddaughter, Jessica Laine and her fiancé Emmanuel Oliveras of Worcester; great grandson, Joey Oliveras of Worcester; brothers, Gerry of Worcester, John of Nashua, NH, Richard of Cape Coral, Florida, and John Hamel of Port St. Lucie, FL; sisters, Jill Chaplis of Worcester and Nancy Messina of Tarpon Springs, FL and many nieces and nephews.
Robert’s burial will be private. There are no calling hours. The family wishes to thank the staff of St. Mary's Health Center and Beacon Hospice for providing his care in his final days. Arrangements are in the care of CALLAHAN FAY & CASWELL Funeral Home, 61 Myrtle St.
