Obituary

Dudley- Demitrios Partsalis, 92, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at Harrington at Hubbard Hospital in Webster.
Demitrios leaves his wife of 66 years Glykeria (Kotoulas) Partsalis, two daughters, Thomai Gatsogiannis and her husband Vasialios of Webster and Evangelia and her husband Steve Kozlowski of VA, 3 grandchildren, Diana, Jason and Dimitri, and 5 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents and 6 siblings.
Demitrios was born in Polikastanon, Konzane, Greece a son of the late Christos and Rousa (Sizopoulos) Partsalis. He served as a Greek Military Police Sargent with the Greek Army during WWII. After honorable release from the Greek Army, he worked as a stone mason, and worked in Greece, Zaire and Germany. Demitrios later moved to the United States in 1967 where he began work as a set-up operator at the former American Optical company in Southbridge for 20 years, and retired in 1987. He was a proud member of Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Webster. Demitrios and his wife Glykeria were a “very close couple, and were each other’s everything.”
Calling Hours will be Sunday, August 28, 2016 from 5-7PM in Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 35 Lake Parkway Webster. A Trisagion Service will be held at 6:30PM. Funeral Service will be Monday, August 29, 2016 at 10AM at the Church. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster.
