Raymond G. Dunphe, 73, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 23, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester.
His wife of 32 years, Jeanne L. (Bishop) Dunphe died February 28, 2003.
He leaves behind his daughter, Cindy J. wife of Thomas P. Cook of Charlton, step-daughter, Anne M. Clotar of Charlton, step-sons, Paul V, Clotar and his wife Gail of Worcester and Robert F. Clotar of Leicester, step-daughter, Suzanne Clotar of Montpellier, France and step-daughter Laurie J. Clotar of Fichburg, 6 grandchildren; Jessica, Laura, Paul, Shannon, Melanie, and Danny, 8 great grandchildren; Victoria, Jonathan, Elicia, Madison, Bradley, Benjamin, Lucy and Lily, a brother, Arthur Dunphe of Maine and a sister, Edna Nault of New Hampshire.
Ray was born in Worcester, son of the late Frank and Ethel (Gosler) Dunphe and has lived in Oxford for many years. He was also predeceased by a daughter-in-law, Lee A. (Lovey) Clotar of Leicester and a son-in-law, John S. Pinto of Charlton, two brothers and one sister.
He worked at Indusol Inc. for over 20 years, before retiring.
Ray was a caring person and enjoyed helping friends work on their cars and was known for his generous donating to a variety of charities.
Calling Hours for Ray will be Tuesday, August 30, 2016 from 10AM to 11AM at the ROBERT J. MILLER-OXFORD FUNERAL HOME, 247 Main St., Oxford, followed by a Graveside Service at 11:30 AM in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Webster.
In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made to the donors choice in Ray’s name.
