Nelson Vega, Jr., 65, died Monday, died peacefully August 22nd, with his family and friends by his side; and is now united with his daughter, Jazmin L. Vega. He is survived by his two sons, Anthony Vega of Worcester and Eric Vega of Orlando; five siblings, Jimmy, Yolanda, Gladys, Maria and Eddie Vega; two grandchildren, Amanda and Justin and a great-granddaughter Leila and many nephews and nieces.
He loved life and the arts, and enjoyed good company and a great jazz band. Nelson was an avid fan of the New York Mets and Jets. He prided himself in spreading joy, jokes and laughter. Nelson will be sorely missed by all who knew him.
