Obituary

WEBSTER – Kazimierz Jarosz, 95, of Webster, died Saturday, August 20, 2016 at home surrounded by his family after a brief illness.

He leaves of his wife of almost 69 years, Wanda (Kielbasa) Jarosz; a sister, Paulina Wlodarczyk of Poland; many nephews and nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. He was predeceased by 5 brothers and 2 sisters.

He was born in Fasciszowa, Poland, one of the 9 children of Jan and Maria (Chrapusta) Jarosz. He and his wife immigrated to America in 1960 and lived in Uxbridge. They moved to Webster 20 years ago.

Mr. Jarosz worked as the manager of farm and building supply stores in Poland. Here, he worked as a billing clerk for Tupperware Company in Smithfield, RI for 21 years, retiring in 1984.

He was a member of Saint Joseph Basilica. He was an avid gardener, planting many flowers. He had a love of nature, especially birds.

The funeral will be held Thursday, August 25, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, with a Mass at 11:00 A.M. in Saint Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb Street. Burial will be in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Uxbridge. A calling period will be from 9:00 to 10:30 A.M. on Thursday in the funeral home prior to the Mass.
