Augusta, GA – Mrs. Generosa Mejias-Cruz, 85, beloved wife of Luis Mejias, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, August 19, 2016 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Susan Galasso officiating. Interment to follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. Mejias-Cruz came to the United States and helped raise her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Mejias-Cruz had a generous soul and compassionate heart. She will be missed by all that knew her.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Mejias-Cruz is survived by her son, Jorge Luis Mejias (June); her daughter, Millie Mejias Moore; her grandchildren, Gavin Guilfoyle (Cori), Annette Fennell (Scott), Travis Mejias (Kira), Taylor Mejias (Rebecca), and Teresa Mejias; and by her great-grandchildren, Tyler, John Scott, Gabe, Gavin, Jr., Gionna, Savannah, Kaden, Austin, Jacob, Carson, and Mariah.
