Eileen B. (Wrixon) Salvadore, 88, of Worcester died Monday, August 8th in the home she shared with her daughter. Her husband of 65 years, Joseph S. Salvadore died in 2013. She leaves a son, Paul J. Salvadore and his wife, Danielle; a daughter, Eileen E. Veroneau; two granddaughters, Michelle and Stephanie Veroneau and a brother, Daniel Wrixon and his wife, Joanne all of Worcester. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Robert Wrixon and two sisters, Anna Stack and Mary Wrixon.
Eileen was born in Worcester and graduated from the former Ascension High School. She was the daughter of John R. and Bridget (Sherlock) Wrixon. Mrs. Salvadore was a member of Our Lady of the Angels Church and participated in many trip and events sponsored by the church. She enjoyed spending time at the casino and especially loved to play bingo.
Her funeral is Thursday, August 11th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main Street. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery. A visitation hour will be held from 9:00 until 10:00 AM in the funeral home.
