Dan was born in Worcester and graduated from St. Peter’s High School. Six months later he enlisted in the United States Army and served in the Philippine Islands as the war was coming to a close. Upon discharge from the service he enrolled at Georgetown University and graduated in 1951.
He was predeceased by his father, Daniel F. Holohan, his mother, Alexina (Dionne) Holohan and his beloved pet dog “Sugar”. Dan worked for Nabisco for 34 years as a sales representative, retiring in 1986. He was a member and cofounder of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and a member of the Georgetown University Alumni Association. He was an avid fan of all New England sports teams especially the New England Patriots and the Red Sox. He also enjoyed going to the casinos even though he seldom won. He made sure his family had a Cape Cod summer vacation each year and after retiring he and Fay spent the winter months on Anna Maria Island, FL.
