Mrs. Jimmie Sidener Wheatley, beloved wife of the late Thomas Wheatley, entered into rest on Sunday, July 24, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Rick Slagle officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Wheatley is survived by her son; Steve Wheatley (Pam), her daughter; Connie Washington (Jeff), a sister; Betty Bush, her grandchildren; Stephen Wheatley Jr. (Amie), Kayla Schnitzler (Eric), Dylan Wheatley, Josh Holloway (Jenny) and Jake Holloway, as well as her great grandchildren; Madison Wheatley, Isabelle Wheatley and Tucker Holloway.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons and Steve Marlowe.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Gentiva Hospice and the staff at MYD, especially Tina Ware, Shirley House and LaTonya Nugin.
They will be receiving friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, July 26, 2016 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
