Jackson, SC---Mrs. Gloria Ann Vaughn, 81, entered into rest on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in the Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Pastor Thomas Brookshire officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Vaughn retired from the Murray Biscuit Company, now the Kellogg’s Company. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of the Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Vaughn.
Mrs. Vaughn is survived by her children, Donald E. Vaughn, Sr. (Sabrina) of Keysville, GA, Angelique V. Price (Gunther) of Martinez, GA, Kenneth W. Vaughn of Colorado, Kimberly V. Birchmore (John) of Orangeburg, SC, Jennifer L. Salvo of Graniteville, SC and Belinda Gail Greer (Todd) of Jackson, SC, ten grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, sister, Melvis H. Bartley of Grovetown, GA and a nephew, Steven D. Snead.
The family wishes to say a special thank you to her granddaughter, Kimberly Brooke Gentry, who has been Mrs. Vaughn’s personal caregiver for the past year

Pallbearers will be Donald E. Vaughn, Jr., Charlie D. Pharr, Justin K. Salvo, Hunter B. Johnson, Kevin S. King and Brett Milligan.
The family will receive friends on Monday, July 25, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
