Dorothy M. (Miciak) McElliott, 95, passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at the Overlook Masonic HealthCare Community. Her husband, Robert J. McElliott died in 1982. She leaves a daughter, Regina M. Aldahondo and her husband Pedro of Charlton City and a son, Brian J. McElliott and his wife Francine of Florida, 5 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was born in West Rutland, Vermont, daughter of Michael and Julia (Pouroznik) Miciak and lived in New York for many years, in Queens and Coney Island before moving to Charlton.
She worked for Traveller’s Insurance Co. for over 20 years before retiring.
Dorothy was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Charlton and was an avid crocheter and loved to make tablecloths and doilies.
There are no calling hours.
A Memorial Mass for Dorothy will be Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 10 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, 10 H-Putnam Rd. Ext. in Charlton (Please meet at the church)

The Robert J. Miller-Charlton Funeral Home, 175 Old Worcester Rd. is assisting Dorothy’s family with arrangements.
