Grovetown, GA – Skylar Marie Blankenbeckler, 19, entered her heavenly home on Wednesday, June 15, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at New Heights Community Church with Pastor Jerry Jones officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
Sklyar was a loving daughter, sister, and friend. Skylar was full of life and genuinely loved everybody. She loved all animals but she dearly loved her dogs and horses. Skylar was a 2015 graduate of Grovetown High School, where she excelled in Girls Volleyball. She was very competitive and loved to play sports. Skylar was currently attending Augusta University.
Survivors include her mother; Debi Marie Blankenbeckler, father; Mark S. Blankenbeckler, two brothers; Luke Blankenbeckler of Grovetown, GA, Nick Blankenbeckler (Ashley) of Graniteville, SC, maternal grandmother; Cleo Darnell of Duffield, VA, paternal grandmother; Eva June Blankenbeckler of Kingsport, TN, several aunts, uncles, and extended family members. She is also survived by her Grovetown High School Girls Volleyball Coaches, teammates, and her Thermal Ceramics & Marko Electrical families.
Pallbearers will be Rusty James, Jason Reeves, John Kitchens, Richie Day, Elijah Darnell, and Danny Aldridge. Honorary pallbearers will be Brad Fogle, Bruce Johnson, and the Grovetown High School Girls Volleyball Coaches and Teammates.
The family will receive friends on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5:00 PM until 7:00PM at the funeral home.
