Obituary

Clifford J. Audette, 87, of Worcester died Friday, June 17th at the Rose Monahan Hospice Home surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Worcester on March 19, 1929, he was the son of the late Joseph and Hazel (Pascall) Audette. Cliff was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and served as an officer during the Korean War. He was a graduate of St. John High School, the University of Massachusetts, and the Chicago College of Dental Surgery at Loyola University. Dr. Audette practiced family dentistry at his office on Highland Street for over 50 years. He was a member of the Worcester Dental Society and American Dental Society. Dr. Audette was also an inventor and he enjoyed sailing and spending time on Webster Lake.
Clifford leaves a son, Charles J. Audette and his wife, Mickie, of Pittsfield; a fiancée of many years, Katherine V. Shapter of Auburn; a brother, Peter P. Audette and his wife Carol of Fort Myers, FL; a granddaughter, Lily O. Audette of Pittsfield; and several nieces and nephews, including Michelle M. Edgar of London, England and the late David J. Audette of Stuart, FL; he was predeceased by a brother, Duane Audette of Florida.
His funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 22nd from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Pius X Church, 1153 Main Street, Leicester. Burial will follow in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Leicester. Calling hours are Tuesday, June 21st from 4:00 until 7:00 PM in the funeral home.
