Augusta, GA – Mr. Jack Conrad Hodges, 81, beloved husband of Becki King Hodges, passed away Sunday at home with his family close by.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at Trinity on the Hill United Methodist Church with Dr. Mike Cash officiating. Interment to follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Jack was born in Augusta, GA on October 22, 1934 to the late Claude L. and Lulline Tompkins Hodges. He was a graduate of the Academy of Richmond County and the University of Georgia and was a member of both school’s cheerleading teams and the Delta Tau Delta fraternity at UGA. Jack was a member of Trinity on the Hill UMC, the Augusta Country Club, and the UGA Gridiron Society. He also served as Past President of the Bulldog Club and the Lions Club.
Jack was a loving husband, daddy, granddaddy, great-granddaddy, and friend. The UGA Dawgs were his passion and lunch with his buddies was a religion. Jack was an entrepreneur and the ultimate salesman, who knew customer service was key to his success.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Hodges is survived by his children, Phyllis Hodges Collier (Robert), Paige Hodges Usry (Brad), and William Stuart Rayburn; his sister, Joyce Shuford; his grandchildren, Riah Collier (Tamara), Blake Collier (Camila), Jordan Collier (Meagan), Havird Usry (Brooke), Hodges Usry, Will Rayburn, and John Banks Rayburn; and by his great-grandchildren, Levi, Eva Marie, Elliot, Emerson, and Harper Faye Collier, and Hudson Usry.
Pallbearers will be the grandsons, Havird Usry, Hodges Usry, Riah Collier, Blake Collier, and Jordan Collier.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, May 24, 2016 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.
