Augusta - Mrs. Lewis Kent Sizemore-Giddens, 79, beloved wife of Thomas Giddens, entered into rest at her residence on Wednesday, May 18, 2016.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Covenant Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Robert Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Sizemore-Giddens was a life-long resident of Augusta, GA, a member of Covenant Presbyterian Church, the Greenbrier Garden Club, the Augusta Symphony League, and the Augusta Country Club. She retired from the Georgia Railroad Bank after a 42 year career. Mrs. Sizemore-Giddens was recognized as the Paul Harris Fellow by the Rotary Club of Augusta.
In addition to her husband, Thomas, she is survived by her sons; Bert Andrews Hall, Thomas Ernest Sizemore (Allison) and Dr. Patrick Edward Sizemore (Sheridan), her daughter; Susan Hall Boone (Terry) and stepdaughter; Stacy Tharpe, her grandchildren; Dr. Ryan Boone, Ashley McCauley, Lauren Hall, Drew Hall, Caitlin Boone Vitello, Joshua Boone, Rebecca Sizemore, Mary Catherine Sizemore, Chase Sizemore, Madeline Sizemore, Caroline Sizemore, Graham Sizemore, Jackson Sizemore and Parker Tharpe, as well as her great grandchildren; Patrick McCauley, Peyton McCauley, Jackson Boone and Benjamin Boone.
Pallbearers will be Ron Parker, Carl Darby, Fred Adams, Kent Plunkett, Jim Crimmins and Chuck Baldwin.
