Obituary

Charles W. Kasprzak, Jr., 79, of North Oxford, died Friday, May 13th in St. Vincent Hospital. He leaves his wife of 45 years, June (Beauregard) Kasprzak; a son, Charles Kasprzak of Conyers, GA; a daughter Nicole and her partner, Jeffrey Leckstein of Hong Kong. He also leaves a brother, Robert Kasprzak and his wife, Betty; two sisters, Eleanor Hipson and Charlene Trace and her husband, Ronald; a granddaughter, Shelby Decocq and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a daughter, Linda Kasprzak.
He was born in Worcester the son of the late Charles W. and Sophia (Makarewicz) Kasprzak. Chuck was a retired salesman for the steel industry. He was involved with the Auburn Chamber of Commerce, Auburn Kiwanis Club, and currently with the Chester P. Tuttle Post 279, Auburn. Mr. Kasprzak was proud to have served with the United States Marine Corps.
Calling hours are Sunday, May 15th from 4:00 until 6:00 PM in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Burial will be private in the Massachusetts Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Fisher House Foundation, 111 Rockville Pike, Suite 420, Rockville, MD 20850 (fisherhouse.org).
