Jack F. Reid Sr., 57, of Derry, NH, died July 5, 2005. He was born in Cambridge, MA on March 27, 1948, a son of John Reid and Lillian Fratus. Jack was a member of the Teamsters Union and was employed by TransGas and Gibb Oil for over 20 years. He later started his own small trucking business and was a well known and respected professional in the Derry community for many years. Jack served in the US Army in the late 1960's. He loved boating, fishing, cars, motorcycles, rock & roll, and most of all, his family.
He is survived by his sister Jaye and his cousin Robert and family, his children Laurie, Jaye, Jimmy Jack, Megan, Jack Jr., and their mothers, Catherine and Ginny. He was grandfather to Madison, Chelsea, Katie and Eric. He also leaves many other cousins, aunts and friends.
Jack will be greatly missed and will always be in our hearts and our minds. His legacy will continue to grow through the love of his children and grandchildren.
Following cremation, friends called on Monday evening, July 11th from 6 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A memorial service was conducted at 7:00pm during calling hours.
