Kinnon A. “Kenny” Burgess passed away on May 1, 2015. He was 79 years old.
Kenny was an avid sports fan and veracious reader. He enjoyed living his life to the fullest and spending time with his family, especially his amazing grandchildren, who he adored and was so proud of. Kenny was bastion of strength for all who knew him and a 25 year friend of Bill W.
Kenny was the devoted husband of 56 years to Cecilia (Moreira) Burgess. He was the beloved father of Allen Burgess and his wife Anne of North Reading, Cindy Kelly and her husband Jim of Stoneham, Robin Kramich and her husband Kenny of Salsbury, Keith Burgess and his partner Trish Eddy of Somersworth, NH, and Brian Burgess of Melrose and also David Snow of Burlington. “Papa” leaves behind his treasured grandchildren Erin and Ryan Kelly, Jake Kramich, Tyler, Elizabeth, Keith Jr., Jessica and Jeremy Burgess. Kenny was the dear brother of Winnie Snow of Watertown and William Burgess of Sarasota, FL, and the late Melvin and Robert Burgess. He is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be held at the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street, Malden on Wednesday May 6th at 10:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Tuesday May 5th from 3-8p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
In lieu of flowers donations in Kinnon’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
