Joan C. “Dolly” (Kasle) Geary, of Lynn died December 10th at home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Lynn the daughter of the late Kenneth and Anna (Kowalczyk) Kisielewski and beloved wife of the late John J. Geary. Raised and educated in Lynn attending Lynn Schools.
Joan was employed as a clerk with the Essex County Registry of Deeds for many years. She was a member of the P.L.A.V. Auxiliary Chapter 56, St. Hedwig’s Society, The Holy Rosary Sodality, Sisters of St. Chretienne Associates of Salem and a lifelong member of St. Michael’s Parish.
She is survived by her devoted children John S. Geary, M. Joseph Geary and his wife Laura, Joan Geary all of Lynn, Karyn Geary and her husband Daniel MacDonald of Groveland, her loving grandchildren Susanna, Benjamin, Timothy, Catherine, John Geary, Lauren and William Marnik, Mary, Jack, and Max MacDonald, her sister in laws Claire Kasle, Pauline Kasle, Patricia Moore and Regina Geary. She was predeceased by her brothers Arthur, Joseph, Edward Kasle, Helen Kalapinski and Josephine Robleski.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Nadworny Funeral Home 798 Western Ave., Monday at 9:30 AM, followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, at 10:30 AM. Visiting hours Sunday from 2-6 PM. Those who wish may make donations to the Franciscan Sisters of St. Joseph’s 5229 S. Park Ave, Hamburg, NY 14075.
