Mark Edward Trussell, 35, of Lawrence passed away tragically on August 19, 2014 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. Mark was born on July 7, 1979 in Methuen to Charles and Carolyn Trussell. Mark loved spending time with his four young children and his many friends. According to his friends and coworkers at Salvatore's Restaurant of Lawrence, Mark's smile was infectious. He knew when anyone was having a bad day and would always share his smile to help brighten that person's day. He enjoyed football, boxing and had a deep passion for all thing related to Irish culture. Mark was an extremely proud organ donor. With his tragic passing comes light, Mark was able to save the lives of five complete strangers through organ donation and many others will receive assistance through his donation.
Mark was the loving son of Charles and Carolyn Trussell of Lawrence. He was the devoted father of Lilyan, Jacob, Noah and Gracelin all of Haverhill. He was the adored brother of Christine Ota and her husband Glen of Andover, Kelly Garon of Andover and his baby sister and best friend, Courtney Trussell of Lawrence. Mark is also survived by his former wife and great friend, Courtney Morris, his nephew Derek Trussell of Andover and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will occur on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Saint Patrick's Church of Lawrence. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery of Andover. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mark's memory may be made to the Mark Trussell Memorial Fund. Donations may be dropped off at any Enterprise Bank location or mailed to C/o Enterprise Bank, 290 Merrimack St. Lawrence, MA 01843. This trust has been established in Mark's memory for the further care of Mark's four young beautiful children. The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home is honored to serve the Trussell Family.
