Laura (Simbro) Rogers, age 90 of Fall River, passed away on Friday, Feb. 7, 2014 at Charlton Memorial Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Albert R. Rogers and the daughter of the late Antonio M. and Sizaltina (Cabral) Simbro. Prior to retiring, Laura worked as a Cook for the Head Start Program and was also a homemaker at home. She was a parishioner of Good Shepherd Parish.
She is survived by her children: Nancy Dias & Sandra Rogers both of Fall River, & Kevin Rogers of Nantucket; 5 grandchildren: Laura Flannery of New York, Dennis, Michael, Jason, Eric, & Justin Rogers; 2 great grandchildren: Boston Quincy Flannery & Addison Brooke Rogers; her nephew Robert Moore of Fall River and several other nieces & nephews. She was the mother of the late Dennis Rogers.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St. Fall River on MONDAY at 9:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Good Shepherd Parish, S.
