Arline (Perkins) Sheridan, 92, formerly of Gorham, NH passed away on Monday November 11, 2013 at the Coos County Nursing Home in Berlin. She was born in Groveton, NH on April 25, 1921 the daughter of the late John L. and Isabelle (Morin) Perkins and had resided in Gorham from 1941 until she entered the nursing home. Arline was a member of the Dupont-Holmes Post #82 American Legion Auxiliary, the R.S.V.P., had been a unit hostess at the Androscoggin Valley Hospital and was a long time member of Holy Family Church in Gorham.
Members of the family include her son Stephen Sheridan and wife Melinda of Waterboro, ME; her daughter Deborah Chapman and her husband Charles of Gorham; five grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; two sisters Shirley Brown and Patricia Woodward, both of Groveton; nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred G. Sheridan in 1989, a sister Pauline Gallant and brothers Gordon Perkins and Kenneth Perkins.
A private graveside service will be held at the Lary Cemetery in Gorham. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, anyone who wishes may make a donation in her memory to the Coos County Nursing Home Activities Fund, PO Box 416, Berlin, NH, 03570.
