Clifton Brett Drake, 44, of Ledyard died Sunday, August 25, 2013. He was born July 25, 1969 in Japan. He was the son of Larry Drake of North Carolina and the late Joan (Locklear) Drake, father of Brett and Sky, and husband of Michelle Sylvester Drake for 19 years. He also leaves 2 siblings: brother Rodney Drake and sister Kimberly Bethel both of North Carolina.
He was a tribal member of the Lumbee Tribe. He was a graduate of Cape Fear High School, Fayetteville, NC and was a US Navy veteran of Desert Storm.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at the family’s convenience at a later time.
