Lori (Lubinsky) Hannan, age 49 of East Bridgewater, Massachusetts died peacefully after a courageous two-year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease) on February 25, 2013, surrounded by her family. Lori was the cherished wife of Myles Hannan, Jr. for 26 years and the loving mother of Justin and Melissa Hannan, all of East Bridgewater. Lori was a dedicated Oncology Certified Nurse whose compassion and love of nursing touched hundreds of people over her 25 year career at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, MA, and Medical Oncology & Hematology in Brockton, MA. Lori is survived by her brother Leonard Lubinsky, Jr. and his wife Leona of Dover, PA; David Lubinsky and his wife Lynn of Davidsville, PA.; as well as many nieces and nephews. Lori was raised in Johnstown, PA and was the daughter of the late Leonard Lubinsky, Sr. and the late Irene (Romaniw) Lubinsky.
Lori's services will be held on Friday, March 1 at 9:00 AM at Blanchard Funeral Chapel on Plymouth St. (Rte. 58 at the rotary circle) in Whitman, followed by a funeral mass at 10:00 AM at St. John’s Church on Central St. in East Bridgewater. Burial will follow at the Central Cemetery in East Bridgewater. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 28 from 4:00-8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lori's name to the ALS Association (alsa.org) or the American Cancer Society (cancer.org).
