Obituary

Methuen, Ma - Richard P. Broscoe, 33 died December 22, 2012 at his home.

Richard was born in Lawrence and was a lifelong resident of Methuen and a graduate of Methuen High School.

Richard had been employed with ESCO Awards of Salem, NH, as their Production Manager and Vice President. He also worked at Emblem & Badge in Methuen, MA while in High School. He worked at Circuit Board Express and he worked on a Scallop Boat out of Newburyport for a winter. According to his parents, Karen and Jim, their son was formerly involved in the Boy Scout Troop 67 in Lawrence. As a student in high school, Richard set up shows for local bands and it might be noted that several signed record labels. Richard was devoted to his dogs. He loved all animals and the outdoors. He loved building trails and walked his trails with the dogs a few times a day. You always knew when Rick was around. He was thoughtful and kind and was very loyal to his friends and those he loved.

Survivors include his parents; Jim and Karen (Wrigley) Broscoe.

Survivors also include his brother, John Broscoe of Hampstead, NH; his maternal grandparents, Pauline and William Guay of Methuen; his best friend and dog, Vincent; his parents’ dog, Roscoe; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Richard was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Richard J. Wrigley; paternal grandfather, John Broscoe; and also his dog, Luigi, who is surely by his side now, wagging his tail.

A service and celebration of Richard's life will take place on Saturday at 12PM from the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.

Calling hours will take place on Saturday from 10-12 at the funeral home.
