Dorothy M. Joyce (Lynch) age 91 of Canton, formerly of 1000 Southern Artery Quincy & Mattapan passed away November 28th at the Copley at Stoughton. Born and raised in Boston, she attended Boston Schools. She worked as an Administrative Clerk for New England Telephone (Verizon) for many years and was a member of the New England Telephone Pioneers. Beloved mother of Martin & his wife Margaret of York Harbor, Maine, Michael & his wife Claire of Canton, Kathryn Arcese & her husband Stephen of Canton, Dorothy Donovan & her husband James of Plymouth, Stephen of Lowell & the late Joseph Joyce. Sister of Robert Lynch of CA, Patrick Lynch of CT & the late Joseph Lynch, Catherine O’Neill & Richard Lynch. Also survived by 16 grandchildren & 12 great grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Saturday morning at 10. Interment Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Assn Of Marian Helpers, Father Joseph MIC, P.O. Box 716 Stockbridge, MA 01262.
