McPhee, Marion E. (Driscoll) of Weymouth, formerly of Marshfield and Quincy, passed away November 23, 2012.
Beloved wife of the late Michael D. McPhee. Loving mother of Richard D. McPhee of Rockland, Marilyn Driscoll of Pembroke, Barbara Richardson of Mansfield, Kathryn Lowe of Hanson, and Carolyn Mills of Weymouth. Sister of Francis Driscoll of CT. Also survived by 16 grandchildren, a late grandchild David Levangie, and 27 great grandchildren.
Marion graduated from Trinity High School in Boston and worked as an elevator operator for R.H. Stearns. Her husband died at a young age and Marion raised her family of five children. She later became a Nursing Assistant working for the City of Boston at Long Island Hospital. She was very social and enjoyed attending the local senior citizen activities. Her family was the focal point of her life and she will be remembered for her quiet nature and strong work ethic.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM.
Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
