Lunt, Edward J. of Marshfield passed away on September 27, 2012 at the age of 68 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Carol (Bugovics) Lunt. Loving father of Carol Hutchinson and her husband Michael of Marshfield, Catherine Niemi and her husband James Orander of Wareham, Christine Cosgrove and her husband Joseph of Duxbury and Cynthia Reagan and her husband Kenneth of Duxbury. Loving grandfather of Michael, Amanda and Olivia Hutchinson, Ashley Orander, Emma, Maggie and the late Abigail Cosgrove and Jake and Sam Reagan. Son of the late Maynard and Catherine (Sweeney) Lunt. Dear brother of Joseph Lunt of Plymouth, Catherine Fisher of Braintree, Phyllis Dudley of Braintree and the late Marilyn Felton and Stephen Lunt. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Edward was born in Dorchester. He graduated from Boston Technical High School. Edward has been a resident of Marshfield for 15 years.
Visiting hours will be held at the MacDonald Funeral Home, 1755 Ocean St. Rte 139, Marshfield on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral from the funeral home on Monday, October 1 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in Our Lady of the Assumption Church, 40 Canal St., Marshfield at 10:30 a.m. Interment in Couch Cemetery.
