Kristina H. Svensson, 50, died Tuesday, April 3, 2012 following a lengthy illness.
Born in Lynn on March 14, 1962, she was the daughter of the late Sven and Priscilla (Cook) Svensson. She was raised and educated in Danvers and was a graduate of Danvers High School, Class of 1981, and North Shore Community College.
For many years, Kristina was employed as a counselor in area group homes.
She enjoyed fishing and visiting the coastline, and the year she spent living in Sweden as a girl.
She is survived by a sister, Linda Russell of Hopkinton, a brother, Stanley Svensson of Danvers, and an uncle, Kjell Svensson of Sweden. She also leaves her second family of dear friends at Twin Oaks Nursing Home.
Her Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 6, 2012 at noon in the Walnut Grove Cemetery, 30 Sylvan St., Danvers. Relatives and friends are invited. As requested, there are no visiting hours. In lieu of flowers, donations in Kristina’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
