Ellen M. (Waydaka) Streeter, 59, of Spencer and formerly of North Brookfield passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2012 with her loving family by her side.
Ellen was born on January 12, 1953 in Worcester, daughter of Marian Waydaka and the late Raymond Waydaka. Ellen was raised in North Brookfield and graduated from North Brookfield High School in 1971.
She was formerly married to Robert Streeter of Venice, FL, with whom she had two daughters.
She was the loving mother of Jennifer Disley and her husband Maurice (“Pat”) Disley, III of Southbridge and Sara Streeter-Chaires and her husband Stefan Chaires of Melrose, beloved “Nina” of Nicholas, Kayla, Gavin and Harrison, and the devoted companion to her longtime partner David Cole of Spencer.
She is survived by her siblings Mark Waydaka of East Brookfield and Nancy Corbeil of West Brookfield.
Ellen will be remembered for her kind, caring nature and her love for her family. She had a passion for helping animals and took in many over her lifetime who needed a home. She enjoyed cooking, watching old movies and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was a loving and fiercely protective mother whose daughters already miss her terribly and whose lives will never be the same without her.
