Zachary Marquis, of Derry, January 9, 2012. The many relatives and friends of Jason and Amy (Burrington) Marquis will be saddened to learn of the loss of their beloved son Zachary Marquis, at the age of three months. Zachary was born on 9/22/11. He was loved the very second he arrived in this world. He enjoyed playing with his toys, watching sports on TV with Daddy, and gave us the best 3 months of his life. He was so happy, smiling all the time. He spent time singing with mommy, and jumping on her lap. He loved to be read to each night. And he was tucked in with his favorite blanket each night with his glow worm to soothe him to sleep. He just started enjoying Sophie his teething giraffe, and giving my-my's (smiles) to his parents each morning. He will be forever missed but never forgotten, a huge hole has been left in our heart.
Besides his loving parents, he is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Wayne and Donna Burrington of Derry, paternal grandparents, Yvon and Adriene Marquis of Lawrence, MA, as well as aunts, Tory Burrington of Derry, Lise Marquis of Salem, Carole Perry of Methuen, MA.
Calling hours were held on Sunday January 15th from 12 – 2PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Funeral services followed at 2pm in the funeral home.
