John Edward DuPont, 50, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012, in Harington Memorial Hospital in Southbridge.
He leaves his siblings; Debra DuPont-Schmidt and her husband Gordon of Pittsburg, PA., William N. DuPont and his wife Nancy of Dudley, Richard E. DuPont and his wife Lori of Austin, TX., and Renee DuPont-Kujawski and her husband Jan of Dudley.
Nieces and nephews; Dr. Gregory Schmidt, Attorney David J. DuPont, Jr., Dr. Katherine Schmidt-Vogel, Jeffrey W. DuPont, Lauren DuPont, Jack W. DuPont, Reed DuPont, and Carson DuPont. Grand nieces and nephews; Elizabeth, Samantha and Madison Vogel, Jacob and Olivia Schmidt.
John was predeceased by a brother David J. DuPont, Sr., who died in 2003.
He was born in Worcester, a son of Dr. Emile N. and E. Marilynn (McKinstry) DuPont and lived in Webster most of his life.
He attended the Connecticut Institute for the Blind/Oak Hill in Hartford, Ct., and the Perkins School for the Blind in Waltham. He was currently participating in the Rehabilitative Resources programs.
John’s Funeral services were private, the Funeral Mass was in Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, burial was in Sacred Heart Cemetery, in Webster.
