Ann Lipe Yancey passed away peacefully at her home in Industry, Texas on October 7, 2011. Born in Seminole, Oklahoma on November 17, 1931 to DeWitt and Kathryn Simons Lipe, Ann was predeceased by her parents, her brother “Busty” and her husband Earl Chapman Yancey.

Ann raised her family in Brazoria County where she was active in the Cub Scouts and First Methodist Church of Lake Jackson. She retired from Dow Chemical in Freeport after twenty plus years of service and moved with Earl to Industry, Texas to enjoy retirement at their newly acquired Yancey Ranch. Her big heart and ever present smile will be greatly missed.
