Aunt Jean & Family, No words can take away the pain of your loss. Steven was a very special man who will forever be in our hearts. God must have needed a very special angel in Heaven. If there is anything Tom or I can do, please let us know. We Love you!

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky. In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there were one set of footprints. This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints. So I said to the Lord, “You promised me Lord, that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there have only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, you have not been there for me?” The Lord replied, “The times when you have seen only one set of footprints in the sand, is when I carried you.” -Mary Stevenson) I have so many fond memories of Steven (he was the best babysitter). I know that he is in a good place now and god is taking extra special care of him. Aunt Jean and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Steven will be greatly missed. He was such a great person and will remain in our hearts and memmories forever! To Lisa, I know you took very good care of him and you were his angel! What a tough thing to have to do but I am sure that he is looking over you and the family. We Love you Steven. God carried Steven and will continue to care for him. Love, Christina, Bobbie, and Emily xoxoxo...

Sorry to hear about Steve. We always greeted and talked to each other when we bumped into each other in the hallways of Cummings Properties, building 500. He was always so kind and a pleasure to talk with. He was doing so well the last time I saw him and so I was hopeful. We will miss him.

My sincere condolences to the Harris family. I work in Cummings Park in Woburn and was always greeted by Steven in a friendly caring way. He would ask how my baby was doing and he would talk about his nieces and nephews fondly. He was a sweetheart of a guy with a big heart. Such a gentle soul. I will miss seeing his friendly face at work. I know he's watching over us all. Rest in peace, Steve. You will be missed. Love, Jan

Steven was a real gentleman. He dealt with his illness with class. He was always hopeful, never maudlin. Everyone at 500 W. Cummings Park knew him and enjoyed talking with him. As a 31-year Cummings tenant, I can honestly say that he was, by far, the most personable, best liked, most competent person ever to do the custodian job that I have ever encountered. I know that I will really miss him, and I only knew him at work. So, to those who loved him as a brother and an uncle, I convey my sincere condolences.

Steven took good care of us here in West Cummings Park, building 500. I always looked forward to having a chat with him, when I came in to the office. I will really miss those little moments, the kind that make each day a bit more pleasant. I knew he had been ill for quite a while - but he always kept his spirits up, and seemed to be a genuinely happy person, despite his troubles. He was a really good guy - I miss him already...
