Crystal M. Amaral, 20, passed away Thursday, March 25, 2010 at the Lahey Clinic, Burlington, Mass., after a brief illness. Crystal was born in Lawrence on December 20, 1989 and was educated in the Lawrence Public School System. She was previously employed at Dunkin Donuts, Market Basket and Rite-Aid. She was a member of the United Riverside Congregational Church of Lawrence. She was also a Ladies Auxiliary member of the VFW and the American Legion of Methuen.
Crystal is survived by her parents Edward and Laurie (Baxley) Amaral of Lawrence, her grandmother Sandra Baxley of Lawrence, her godmother Marie Zboya of Lawrence and her uncle's Keith Baxley of Lawrence, Lawrence Baxley of Amesbury, Robert Duchateau and his wife Rochelle of New Jersey and John Baxley and Thomas and Lori (Baxley) McDevitt of Georgia. She is also survived by her cousins Kevin, Kelly, Jennifer and Jeffrey Baxley as well as several other aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was the granddaughter to the late: Arthur F. and Henrietta Amaral.
Crystal will be lovingly remembered for her bubbly personality and happy go lucky attitude. She enjoyed camping, boating and the company of her pets Teddy, Ginger, Mischief, Tigger and the late Angel and Patches who she spoiled terribly. She will be sorely missed by all the friends and relatives who loved her deeply. May she rest in peace and be forever with the Lord.
Her funeral service will be held on Monday, March 29th, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the John Breen Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 122 Amesbury Street, Lawrence, MA.
